| Andrew, Carl… another point worth mentioning is that visitors/commuters can already park in large parts of Harvard Rd; but I guess the cost has proved too great for them to justify; it must really add up over the months, especially if it’s on top of train/bus fares. But what if they had found parking there affordable? They’d be parked there anyway; so I’m not suggesting that commuters be given areas of road that they cannot currently park in. All I’m suggesting is that the parking be made a practical option for non-residents as was intended under the CPZ scheme, which you support. |
