"I took a drive to Harvard Rd this morning at about 10.45am. Here’s what I saw:" I just walked around the north of the A4 - between harvard, sutton court and wellesley. Excluding Sutton Court Road and Wellesely Road I think 50 spaces, at a conservative estimate, could be returned to the "free" pool without any negative impact on existing residents. I did not include any part of the road outside someone's front door; to ensure that no one is inconvenienced. Even with this reduced CPZ the residents would be more than satisfied by the remaining capacity. Surely returning 50 spaces to the "free" pool would help alleviate the Elmwood Road problem, and is a much better example of neighbours "sharing" a problem? I will incorporate this into an integral part of the No Campaign. Mark |
