Whilst I appreciate there is a connection between national planning policy and CPZ's there are lots of other reasons why people are in favour/opposed to the CPZ - and, from my knowledge of the area, it isn't like the areas which could be subject to a CPZ have seen massive development in recent years (eg. thousands of new homes etc). So I think the discussion about national planning policy is rather 'irrelevant' to the merits (or lack of them) of a CPZ in this case - no need to give up (and I know you're just being sarcastic), just better to concentrate on other reasons why a CPZ is/isn't necessary/appropriate in this area. |
