Sorry to butt in, but surely the building of a HUGE car park is not just a local issue. First you have to consider the congestion caused by thousands of commuters heading for it, and then whether Kew bridge station can handle it, and then whether SW trains can handle it. Get anything wrong and you will end up with a huge EMPTY car park. Mind you, if that's what you want..... Oh yes, and you just might find that too many people would still want to park in Elmwood Road, because as you recall you still don't know if the problem is caused by commuters, overflow parkers from the Chiswick CPZs or the simple fact that hardly any London streets can handle two cars per household. |
