| There is no doubt that the majority of residents in the majority of streets in the CPZ-free area south of the A4 are currently against. However if the councillors choose to slice-and-dice the area and only accept votes for each street from those living in it, then Elmwood may well get a CPZ and the neighbouring streets will suffer displacement parking as a result. The area needs to be treated as a whole, with the under-used parking on the north side of the A4 included in the decision-making process. |
