I have carefuly checked the East half of Chesterfield rd and compared it to Dukes avenue and other CPZ streets and at best we will lose 35% of the spaces we have. Much more if they put in passing spaces. This is due to yellow lines at corners - yellow lines on driveways - and that the spaces they will put are larger than most cars need. I do not think we have 35% unwanted visitors ever so why on earth would any one think this cost and vast street litter of signs etc makes us better off? we will pay for residents tickets and there will be twice as many tickets at least compared to spaces, and a load of visitors wanting to park as well. LETS STOP this nonsense |
