| Unfortunately it looks like I won't be able to make it as I have now had confirmation of times from my daughter.... but I think I have said all that I am likely to be able to contribute in my last few postings. Except: If we do have to have a CPZ, it will make a HUGE difference if we can park across our own driveways. If we only have maked out bays between driveways many roads will be in serious trouble in terms of available parking. And to say that this allows others to park across driveways is rubbish... they don't at the moment and it is permitted - well OK the odd trade van, but a CPZ isn't going to stop that! The latest consultation document still only asked about parking across driveways IF you had said that you were in favour of a CPZ. so does the opinion of the majority who DO NOT WANT the CPZ not count if we get one forced on us? It would appear not! |
