| Adam hi, If there was free parking near the tube stations, then residents would be far more likely to use the tube. I have often had to get a taxi to the tube. How silly is that. Also the emissions from cars are controlled by road tax and the emmissions reduction technology in the cars. Taking away the parking spaces simply penalises low emission vehicles.It is just not the right tool, and demonstrates the very curious thinking going on in our local councils. As a matter of interest how many parking spaces are available for council staff in Hounslow? |
