| I too was impressed with the quality and generally good-humoured nature of the debate, and thought that Cllr. Hearn's comments were out of order. Like many other people, I usually cannot park outside my own home after about 7pm, so I drive around for a couple of minutes and always find a space within three or four minutes' walk from where I live. I do not think we need all the paraphernalia and expense of a CPZ to save me that amount of walking, and of course a CPZ would offer absolutely no guarantee that in future I would be able to park outside my home in the evening. |
