| Some people have said on here that councils (not sure if LBH) have increased the times after a scheme has been introduced. And even a 2 hour CPZ would still ruin a lot of walks, and unnecessarily so if no-one else is using the space (prob about 100m along the park wall alone), especially those visiting before the CPZ time commences, worrying about the time. But it’s obvious what will happen – these people will simply drive around the corner and park in Staveley Rd. If this scheme proceeds, there’s going to be a big problem in Staveley Rd. They’re going to get everybody – train commuters, park visitors, airport commuters – you name it. On day one of its ‘Grand Opening’, Staveley Road residents will become “The New Oppressed Minority” !! |
