| Glad u agree that 25% plus spaces will go - is that progress?? We have 10 driveways in our end of Chesterfield rd - and apart from the occasional delivery van visiting next door for 10 minutes I have never had a problem - and it is legal to park anywhere. I agree they would like the income - to watse on more roads bumps and such - but they will waste most of this revenue on the street litter ( signs and road marks) they will put up and on traffic wardens to fine us for being 2 inches outside a space and a whole raft of bureacrats on bulle proof pensions - to issue the permits and count them out. they are not transferable so every time you change cars that is another tax? |
