| No worries Nick, having been subject to both a redundancy and a reduced working week myself during the economic downturn it isn't right that the public sector shouldn't be exposed to the same financial pressures that many of us in the private sector are. But I am concerned as to what effect the cuts to the public sector will have on services in all areas provided to the public - I feel that the public have a greater/unrealistic expectation of the level of service they should get from local authorities than what is actually deliverable. However, that's a debate for another thread !. |
