| Jonathan is right. As evidence the observations are open to criticism. But at least it's evidence (however problematic) and it stands in contrast to the council's willingness to proceed without any proper evidence at all. If our streets are to be changed fundamentally, let it at least be on the basis of incontrovertible evidence. As to the consultation surveys, the figures have been massaged to favour a particular outcome. They offer no stable basis for action. |
