I can not take sides on whether you have been insulted - but if you where to say that you have to follow gov policy and have tried to find ways round it such as x and y for local benefit and to meet local real concerns then perhaps the local community that pay taxes to fund your salary I assume would feel more empathy? Many of the public may feel ''you guys'' will hide behind ''central policy'' to ignore what we want. That also may not be fair but this CPZ seriously threatens our street and way of car based life so some of us are very concerned and can not seem to get the facts we need. Perhaps you can provide them? As director of various NHS trusts over the years I know what public comment pressure and anger can be like - I know that it can be well or badly informedan dafcts can help reduce the pressure. Such adverse comment to '' experts'' goes with the job, and can be quite strongly felt and received. Such is public life. |
