Jeremy, you were the one challenging me about the number of households on Rivercourt. I refuted every one of your counter-claims. It seems that you simply expect people to accept whatever you say, even if it isn't correct. Yet again you are inventing things and claiming I said things that I did not. I have consistently said that traffic surveys are the way to understand the change in traffic. Not as you think, which appears to be a refusal to consider survey data but a fraction of a second glance down the road maybe once or twice a week. You seem to be basing your position on the occasional glances of two people - yourself and one other. Worse still, you think this is "statistically robust"! Maybe in your mind it is, but you are just inventing fantasies as you certainly don't have any actual data, let alone the maths to justify your claim. The Road Safety Audit document is entirely typical of its type - I have read all the equivalents for the Hounslow section of C9. The consultants are paid to examine and challenge the design and the responses to these are invariably a mixture of acceptances, partial acceptances and rejections with justification. I really don't see anything in this document that is different from all the other road safety audits along the route. |
