| Whilst I use Chiswick Lane fairly regularly, it is not one of my main routes. I rarely see cyclists on it, but that may be due to the time of day (early evening) when I typically use that road. It surprises me that there are few accidents on Chiswick Lane, the junction with cars coming off the flyover has always seemed to me to be highly dangerous with limited visibility if you are coming from Hogarth Roundabout and the cars coming off the flyover at relatively high speed. It may be that people using Chiswick Lane are regulars and therefore well aware of the dangers of the junction and if more people are diverted by the proposed road closure by H&F that will result in the junction being more dangerous, or the Hammersmith Gyratory being even more crowded. Time will tell |
