Jeremy, of course you should be dismissed when you haven't any evidence or when your evidence is flawed. The reason I dismiss you so often is that your evidence is missing or flawed so often. You are another link in the ChiswickW4 'virtual human centipede' where crap produced by one person is swallowed and passed on by another. As it happens, I passed the Rivercourt junction on my way to work this morning and didn't see a single car there. This was at peak commuting time. While this is an anecdote, I have considerably more 'evidence of my eyes' than you given I've been past the junction about 30 times so far this year. Your 'self evident' claims don't stand up to any scrutiny. Why are you so averse to actual data? Are you scared that it will undermine your prejudices? The success of the scheme will be determined by data on collisions, not your opinions. There are only 10 households in Rivercourt N of the A4 so the number of vehicles crossing the cycle lane to access Rivercourt will be fewer than any other street off CHR and King St - and there aren't safety issues on those streets. |
