Michael, the belief that there are just ten households on Rivercourt Road seems to matter to you a lot so I won't challenge you on it further. It doesn't really matter much to this discussion anyway. Your contempt for me, and others that are raising concerns about this may or may not also be justified but generally those concerns are echoed in safety report published on the changes by transport engineering firm WSP who were commissioned to assess the changes at Rivercourt Road by H&F Council. The link below also includes comments on the report from borough council officers. To me they seem cavalier and it is difficult to avoid the impression that there was a determination to push this restriction through regardless of the concerns of WSP. Even if this is not the case, many of the rebuttals to potential issues raised by WSP were that they would not matter because use of the junction would fall 'dramatically'. Thus far you seem to be the only person that passes this junction on a reasonably regular basis who appears to believe that the number of vehicles crossing it has fallen dramatically. I urge you to look at this report and ponder its implications. https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/freedom_of_information_request_r_419/response/2866782/attach/5/6%20Rivercourt%20Road%20RSA2%201.0%20Client%20Response.pdf |
