Michael, anyone who followed the thread on the Hogarth Roundabout issue will recall how vehemently you defended the plans particularly because it seemed such a strange thing for you to do. You were sneeringly dismissive of anyone who suggested the turn in front of the George & Devonshire was dangerous and impractical, a view that now even TfL acknowledge is correct. With the Rivercourt Road issue, once again people are pointing out self-evident flaws in the design and once again you adopt a rigid and dogmatic position ignoring everything you are being told. Hopefully the scheme's sponsors will be more receptive to constructive criticism. |
