| Just to add, estimated 2021 traffic on Chiswick Lane was 11k, so over 2k down from 2019 and over 3k down from the 2000s. Those who are predicting a carmageddon from the few hundred using Weltje at the peak should really explain why this didn't happen when there was significantly more traffic on Chiswick Lane in the past. In any event, Weltje is in LBH&F, Chiswick Lane is in LB Hounslow. Closing Weltje is a decision for LBH&F. I can't see LB Hounslow objecting and even if they did, LBH&F are under no obligation to change their plans. |
