| Francis, my summary of your so-called "flaw in the plan" is: "we shouldn't reduce vehicles crossing a cycle lane at an unsignalled junction because that might mean more vehicles at a signalled junction and some cyclists might ignore the lights and that might mean more risk" That is a patently ridiculous argument. So you are basically saying that a known risk affecting every cyclist at that junction is less important than your opinion of the risk taken by cyclists ignoring red lights. Fortunately, your track record of predictions when it comes to Cycleway 9 has been consistently wrong, so I am happy this is your opinion as it means the opposite will likely happen. |
