| You are still clutching at straws Jeremy with calls for "independent" traffic consultants. Hounslow brought in Steer to do analysis of traffic data but that didn't stop the Onesies objecting to all their conclusions because they were being paid by Hounslow. People who don't like their driving being inconvenienced will object to any evidence they don't like. The best way to understand the impact of closing Weltje and Rivercourt would be to close them for a year using an experimental traffic order. By the way, the traffic order making the King St cycle lane permanent came into effect yesterday so all the paperwork is complete. |
