| I suppose it depends on individual circumstances but on balance people I think people would probably prefer to have access from the north rather than the south. Requiring people to negotiate CHR traffic that they previously avoided may not be popular. You may be right about the balance of opinion on the road and I don't disagree with your general point about preferences. As there is a tube station on it, car dependency may be low and it is hard to see what significant displacement would occur if the road was dead ended. |
