| Jeremy, the latest counts show that traffic on the A4 and the High Road are significantly below prepandemic levels. It’s rather unlikely that any of the routes between them are therefore close to any tipping point from the relatively low proportion of traffic that currently uses Rivercourt and Weltje roads. Rather, it’s the small amount of traffic on those roads that is having a known disproportionate effect on the number of injury collisions on C9 and the A4. None of the hypothetical arguments that it will have a disproportionate effect elsewhere have so far been based on any numerical evidence. |
