| You are just bullshitting Bill. You haven't a clue what IT systems Hounslow or LBHF have for this area, who operates and maintains them - are they in-house or outsourced? Then what is needed to implement some sort of borough-wide scheme linked with cameras, fines, CPZ schemes, vehicles that aren't in CPZ schemes and what changes are needed in terms of processes and rolling out new functionality. And in many locations, a bollard will be simpler, cheaper and more effective. I've already explained why wide area modelling is pointless. It is only 500 vehicles in peak hour across both roads. Modelling isn't the crystal-ball tool at predicting the future you think it is. The primary reasons for closing these roads will be safety for both cyclists on King St and drivers on the A4 and also residents on the streets may be hacked off about being ratruns while all the other streets between the gyratory and Hogarth roundabout don't have access to the A4. |
