| 'Funny, I don't recall the oil industry being nationalised ?' So how did we sell the north sea oil fields. As for the other industries you mentioned, they were not natural national assets, but as nationalised assets the wealth from them all ready belonged to us all, now most of the shares and profits belong to a few and many of them are not even from this country, I note you have ignored that point, is it not a fact that you like or is the guilt of robbing the the Nation to much to bear. Its not like the Railways etc were given back to the original owners is it, who I believe were compensated for their losses. |
