| "The assets of the nation secured via nationalisation by My fathers generation (those who went through the World Wars)for the benefit of future generations (our children and their children)were stolen from the public and sold back to those lucky few with cash to spare at the time" Those would be the assets created by private enterprise and built up to create wealth and employment, before being grabbed by the state and run-down to become uncompetitive and provide woeful and expensive service levels ? Attlee and his chums set the British economy back by decades with their foolish quasi-socialist dogmas. |
