| David for a man who writes like he is well read on politics you seem to have blind spots when it comes to conservatives. Sorry for the confusion about the Thatcher Institute it’s actually called the Margaret Thatcher foundation and the publicity at the time stated that its intended purpose was to house all the paperwork from her years in office and her son who is a crook by every meaning of the word, was to be placed in charge. Currently one can down load copies of her speeches and such like from the site, as for the fate of other documents who knows, I guess we will have to wait and see what’s missing in 30 years. As for arms dealing its a well known fact that when Mark Thatcher went missing in the desert during a race he was in fact in a secret meeting with the Saudis discussing an arms deal that his mother had primed the way for some months earlier in clear breach of parliamentary guidelines. Mark Thatcher’s involvement in trying to overthrow an African state in order to strip as much mineral wealth as possible from this state, illegally and with the use of deadly force is also well known Tony Blair’s son was I believe involved in a Cannabis scandal several years back so I won’t worry to much about writing about that. Did you actually read my post? At what point did I call for a revolution, I stated that corruption is such that the only way to remove it would be one. That’s a very long way from trying to start one. As for revolutions throwing up Liars cheats and thieves, they may but when the nation is already run by such people what’s the difference. As for try living in a banana republic, I do, this one, The Disunited Kingdom and while you may stick your head in the sand and view this country as one of the great and powerful democracies, I don’t and it hasn't been for at least 50 years. The reality is that we are a third rate power hanging on to the coat tails of America, while at the same time moving to a system of control and repression more reminiscent of Chinas 'political democracy' than the ideals of western democracy. |
