| 'Those would be the assets created by private enterprise and built up to create wealth and employment.' Strange I thought the coal, oil and gas deposits came about as part of the evolution of the planet, others may say they were put there by God. Now I am told they were created by 'private enterprise' well you lean something new every day. ofcours these enterprising individuals also out of the kindness of their harts also created the employment for the working classes that must be why industries like coal mining had such appalling safety records and the employees such short life expectancies. Nationalisation reduced the death toll and improved safety and funnelled the profits to support things as the welfare state. Previously that wealth went to people who cared so little for the work force that they were little more than Murderers. |
