| He may have been joking Steve? I suspect a ban on wood burning stoves is coming, fire pits and bonfires also* - at least in Greater London and in built up areas. I don't know what impact that will have on jobs - as well as chimney sweeps / stove maintenance skilled workers, there's also wood and stove retailers. The alternative is ethanol stoves, but they don't give out much heat I think. *Do charcoal BBQs give out particulates? |
