There needs to be a genuine benefit and not just an attempt by activists to discourage cycling (e.g. all cyclists to wear number plates). "If I'd try that, I'd be lambasted for being anti-roses or some such nonsense." Probably, because your motive in promoting road safety is to try and shoehorn it into your campaign against cycling and the cycle lane. I suppose you could try out being constructive and straightforward - see how that works out for you :-) |
