| Tom Pike explained " For Hounslow, the most used route with the most collisions is Chiswick High Road." Which for most people, including cyclists* more than anyone, would surely be a good reason for avoiding it and choosing an alternative route. Would it not ? Another question which will go unanswered. Natch. michael adams * One of the significant points I missed out when describing the benefits of cycling (which disastrously metamorphosed into the CYCLING CULT), exercise, mechanical efficiency, design etc was the unparalleled FREEDOM which cyclists enjoy when choosing a route from A to B. In London constrained only by the bridges over the Thames, and in West London by Holland Park. |
