| People take the most convenient path when they cycle, just as they do when they drive, and for many that cycle the destination is the High Road itself. If they have to take less convenient routes they tend to travel less, whether it's on bike or by car. Are you suggesting that while motor vehicles continue to take the routes they consider most convenient, cyclists should take less convenient alternatives? Or should it be the motor vehicles which are involved in the vast majority of injury and fatal collisions on the High Road? |
