| Well, at least that's clear. You don't think most cyclists actually mind taking long detours so there's little need to offer them improved safety on the routes they find more convenient. I don't think that misrepresents you. So the cyclists who have died on London's streets will tend to be the more reckless and lazy individuals who risked their lives simply because they were unwilling to spend more time on long detours. Of course the drivers involved are are quite justified in taking their most convenient route, and it was really down to cyclists to avoid them. It might be worth adding that women are over-represented in cycling fatalities. |
