| Oh please, Paul. I've said this from ages ago. You might recall ReDesign CS9. You might also recall we are now on version 2.0 if not 3.0 which by definition indicates it has been redesigned. Interesting it is still being called temporary. So that means another iteration is pending. Now I do wonder what we'd have and how much less it would have cost if we all had amended the design initially. FWIW, I had come up with a plan called the Green Mile with a necklace park running the length of the High Road with new green space and a segregated cycle lane that could be easily adjusted by using a kit of parts akin to the TfL kit of parts used for parklets elsewhere. I had also developed a plan for parking to be provided but also to be phased out and converted into other purposes as and when it was required. It included increased charging points for electric vehicles, better bus stops (no islands) and improved loading zones. But you, Paul, and others came down with your typical vitriol. And now you want to be lauded for espousing parklets??? |
