And I would thank you to stop putting words in my mouth. I said that before the 1960's, nobody saw any need for seat belts to be fitted, never mind made compulsory in ordinary cars. Which is true. If you can produce any evidence to the contrary then produce it. Furthermore I never mentioned drink driving. I used to think Ed, that you were simply well meaning but misguided. You have now *misrepresented* my posts so often that I'm beginning to suspect malicious intent. If you wish to allay that suspicion might I humbly suggest that you discuss my posts with somebody else ? So that between you, you can elicit their *actual meaning* and not what you would like them to mean for the purposes of your argument, before responding any further ? michael adams |
