| Paul, its really tedious, its like talking to a 5 year old. This forum is not designed for consultations, as I am sure you agree. I am not ignoring anyone, yes one person said it could be improved, but surely we want to engage with all traders, local residents and the broader W4 community. Surely that is sensible? Indeed, you seem to want to ignore traders if they dont agree with you and then listen if someone does. And we seem to be going around in cirlces on Devonshire Road which has been through several iterations. TGT is one of only two north-south routes in W4, the other one down Acton Lane sees very long queues in peak times and at weekends. So you want to push traffic elsewhere as we saw clearly in the past. You seem very concerned with shopping streets but very happy to push traffic onto roads where people live. I noted earlier the congestion around Hammersmith gyratory caused by CS9 on King Street, so still not sure where you expect this traffic to go. It seems if not where you live you dont care. Your comment about step free is the most illuminating of all. It could have a real impact in reducing vehicle use but of course as a cyclist you dont care. Says it all. |
