| I rest my case. I didn’t open up any street . You are quite simply wrong. Shop keepers are not the enemy and from my experiences I can say that your assumptions is not at all what the shop keepers were saying. I myself haven’t at all opposed the idea that less pollution from cars and more journeys made by foot or bike is a good thing. I agree but of course shop keepers will have worries and concerns about their lively hood and what such changes will mean. I think what I’m saying is that this strong belief that shop keepers are to blame for any perceived “demise” ( personally I don’t see a demise) is really too simplistic. I myself don’t drive and choose to cycle / walk but obviously I can concerns about my business. |
