| There does seem to me a very fundamental problem with the planning and licensing process in that it allows people who have bought properties that have been built next to pubs and restaurants then object to the presence of a pub or restaurant. If commercial units on Devonshire Road are being converted into flats then it should be stipulated that the new residents need to accept a certain amount of noise disturbance consistent with the area. |
