| You appear to think you've spotted a "Gotcha!" against Tom Pike by pointing out that aviation travel was less in 2020 than 2019 - as if we didn't all know. But quite aside from the fact that Tom openly provided the respective figures himself, you appear wilfully to ignore two other elements of his post, namely: 1) Pre-Covid Domestic transport emitted 118 million tonnes in 2019 versus 24m tonnes for Aviation in the same period i.e. x5; and 2) Tom also specifically opined that Heathrow's 3rd runway should be cancelled officially. Therefore this exercise in Whataboutery ("Tom criticises cars but ignores planes") fails miserably. |
