| Of course traffic has changed, but flight volumes at Heathrow is a very poor proxy in comparison to traffic volumes on neighbouring local roads. You are arguing that restrictions on through traffic on local roads pushes more traffic onto the main roads which in turn displaces more traffic onto local roads. That’s an incoherent argument that overlooks the restrictions on local roads in the first place! You can access the Steer reports as easily as I can, and there you will see that there is no evidence from the Inrix data that traffic levels have increased on local roads, quite the opposite. That goes against your consistent narrative which might explain your repeated failure to incorporate that evidence into your analysis. |
