And yeah I can probably get one up to 25mph going down hill if I was silly enough, but on the flat trying to get those going at 25mph your heart is going to be coming out of your ears after about 10 seconds. In fact, I'm not sure you claim that they go easily be gotten up to 25mph for say even 10% of riders holds any water, let alone faster. I've never seen lime/forest/voi bikes being ridden like that and I spent a LOT of time on a bike in London. >The larger "motorbike" version for sure needs to be regulated and controlled more robustly. Well yeah, as motorbikes, because that whats they are, not ebikes, they're illegal electric motorbikes and should be confiscated and crushed like uninusured illegally modified/ unroadworthy motor vehicles should be. >You then also get proper motorcycles using the bike lane in Hammersmith to bypass the buses loading/unloading. Yeah, illegal, and makes a case for a more impermeable barrier on that stretch of cycle track and or ANPR. |
