| Hi David, Thanks for the clarification. Ridiculous that LBHF didn't inform businesses inside CPZ Zone A of changes to parking restictions. Also very disappointing that there weren't any signs showing that restrictions had changed. It would have been relatively easy to update the sign. I assume from what you are say that on Glenthorne Road there are timeplates adjacent to yellow lines, and they show restrictions different to the normal controlled times which are now 08:30-23:00 every day. They are however, irrelevant to what restrictions now apply in Beadon Road - not really sure what point LBHF are trying to make by referring you to this signage. I hope the churchgoers find somewhere else nearby to park so they won't get anymore PCNs and I also hope that the council are as understanding with them as they were with you as far as cancelling already issued PCNs goes. I doubt you would find Hounslow as accomodating in cancelling what on the face of it appears to have been a correctly issued PCN. If all LBHF were they were about was extracting money they would have simply told you to pay up or take it to an adjucator, and ( unless you could provide the adjudicator with a photo of an in situ CPZ entry plate still showing the old times, your appeal would have been rejected. Have you put up a sign in your premises letting people know restrictions have changed? I know it's not your responsibility to do so, but I'm just curious. |
