And it’s not about one’s reason to live in London - it’s simply about the fact - as advised by Janice - that Retail Parks are doing way better than High Street retailers because people can park for free for unlimited time and have a stress free shopping experience. People aren’t interested in having experiences and arguments with arrogant council officials about unclear parking restrictions as described by David. Much easier to drive to Kew Retail Park than to suffer the stress of finding parking in Chiswick especially when shopping for heavier or bulky items. Hence High Street shops closing as footfall reduces. You are also less likely to have to dodge e-scooters and irresponsible cyclists when shopping in Retail Parks. |
