'..pedestrians shouldn’t be pushing the buttons at traffic lights.. It is imbecilic and unnecessary as it causes traffic delays.'
As we discussed earlier, many pedestrian traffic lights have placebo buttons for pedestrians which do nothing until the lights change according to a preset pattern.
