Andrew, you make a perfectly fair point. I could have done a much better job of labelling the table. The columns on the left are average delays for the various sections of King Street and Chiswick High Road. These sections have been determined by ArcGis. I've then subtracted the 2019 figure from the 2023 figure to give the increase in delays expressed in seconds in the column second from the right and in minutes for the column on the far right. The number for the whole length won't be precise because the length of the sectors may not be uniform but this would only be material if the sectors which had the biggest delays were significantly shorter than the others, which they are not. Therefore this data tells us that the average delay travelling along King Street to Chiswick Roundabout has risen by nearly three minutes from 2019 to 2023. |
