I’m far too young to get the freebies and I didn’t agree with Boris when he brought them in for over 60’s. It was totally unnecessary and still is. It should only be applicable for those who have reached state pension age 66. Kahn should have scrapped it for those aged between 60 and 66. Personally I think it’s a generous perk for pensioners and perhaps I will have to use it one day but my experiences of buses have generally been that they are dirty, noisy, smelly and germ ridden. Much more comfortable to travel by car. |
