I think most people will understand the difference between 'complete disinformation' and 'facts that don't fit with Paul Campbell's simplistic view of the world' I don't know the answers to your questions 2 and 3 but I'll hazard some guesses. For 2) I say maybe there was a net reduction in 2020 and 2021 as it made sense to switch away from bus priority during the pandemic but some of that has been unwound since and for 3) it has always been the case that bus lanes can be removed - Kew Bridge, the M4 but this will depend on individual circumstances. The evidence I have provided shows a shift in TfL's thinking which may have been driven by the bounceback in public transport use but they need to go further if they want to reverse the decline in bus speeds. |
