Buses can barely pass each other at places on London Rd in Brentford since the cycle lanes were installed.Coupled with the 22million mile reduction in bus miles cut from the outer London boroughs,I can't see how this improves anything for anyone but cyclists, who are far less likely to get on their bikes now winter is upon us.Waiting times at stops for buses have marledly increased. As has been said, the wand lanes on Twickenham Rd are usually empty of cyclists.I saw one on the footpath the other day near the hospital, happily weaving her way between pedestrians. |
