I am unaware of any public statement other than an increased emphasis on 25-25 committing TfL to a net increase in bus lanes but don't you think that the redesigns that I have cited show a difference in thinking? It is probably better to judge a public body by its actions as opposed to the content of its press releases. Presumably you are quibbling the point because you think I am making an anti-cycleway argument which I am not - there is no evidence that C9 has significantly delayed buses on CHR or that the extensions towards Brentford are causing delays. However, in terms of policy priorities buses have been a Cinderella service for some time which is part of the reason why speeds have fallen so much so it is good to see the emphasis switching back to improving the service. As for your questions 2 and 3, I have no idea. Do you? |
